I have a 2-bedroom apartment in Shadyside which is available by February
1st (or as soon as January 19th, if you prefer to move in earlier). It's
very close to both CMU and Pitt and an excellent apartment.

The apartment is a 2-bedroom on the second floor of a house on Ivy Street
between Walnut & Elmer. This is an excellent location right next to all
the shopping, dining and entertainment on Walnut Street. The rent is
currently $835 per month, and that includes gas heat. You have to pay only
for the electric (and cable & phone if desired). The apartment takes up
the entire second floor of this house and has a very large porch
accessible through French doors at the front of the building. The two
bedrooms are quite spacious and there are lots of large closets. There are
hardwood floors in the living room and hallways, the bedrooms are
carpeted. There is very fast access to CMU and Pitt by Bus on 5th Avenue
or Ellsworth. This is really a beautiful apartment, you have to see it to
appreciate it.
